02/13 Black and White study of pile of crap.
Was hoping for inspiration by dumping a keyring, clock, slinkie jr and a pen on the table and attempting to see if something organically would come out of randomness. Nope. Looks like the objects. Maybe I can tweak in Illustrator...
Sure it look like objects, but the organic quality that you achieved was the wonderful angle, balance, texture, contrast -- the composition. And I think it's great.
Wow, thanks! On the closeup, you can see where I messed up with the pen a bunch of times- I keep trying to be neat. Then I look at the side of my hand covered with ink, then look at the paper and DANG, I smeared it...
The paying job is a professor of Neuroscience at a small undergraduate college in the northeast. The unpaying job is art and t-shirt design. At least, it doesn't pay MUCH. But it sure is fun!
